13. OSPREY AROUND LAKE ALMANOR #2
DESCRIPTION:
This trip will travel throughout National Forest lands to visit Osprey nest sites and observe Osprey, stopping at various sites to look for Osprey and Bald Eagles. Trip includes driving and short walks off road in the forest. Participants will learn to identify birds of prey.
TRIP LEADER: LAUREN JAMES
- $20. Limited to 15 participants.
- Meet at 9:30 AM at the Olsen Barn to carpool to various locations around Lake Almanor.
- Bring sunscreen, water, and closed-toed shoes.
- Activity level 3. Hiking on uneven terrain.
