LEADER:  BECKY COMPTON
Becky Compton taught art and English for 34 years in the Plumas Unified School District until 2010.  Following that career, she worked for two years as an art instructor in the Westwood Charter Schools and also has been teaching art for the last eight years in the Artist in the Schools Program with Plumas Arts.  Becky says that she has been interested in art all of her life and retirement has given her more time to enjoy this creative endeavor.  Her art workshops in Westwood and around the Lake Almanor Basin have been very successful. Sheri Binswanger, one of her recent students, said “Becky is a great teacher, very organized and positive with everyone.”
