Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up

Picture
Plumas Audubon adopted a stretch of Highway 89 from the Hwy 70 junction (Greenville Wye) to Indian Falls. We conduct 3 highway clean ups per year.

They will be held on the 1st Saturday of March, August, and November.
Meet at 10:00am sharp at the Greenville Wye.
Trash bags, gloves, grabbers will be provided. It usually takes 2 to 3 hours to finish our stretch of Highway form the Greenville Wye to Dog Rock, depending on how many people show up and the bird sightings. If need be you can leave early.

Clean ups will be canceled if it is raining, and will be rescheduled for the following Saturday.

Hope to see ya on the Highway

The mission of Plumas Audubon is to promote understanding, appreciation, and protection of the biodiversity of the Feather River Region, especially birds, through education, research, and the restoration and conservation of natural ecosystems.
