Volunteer

There are many opportunities for volunteers with Plumas Audubon. These volunteer efforts can be educational and always fun opportunities.  We encourage people to get out and help the birds and learn more about the environment we call home. We are always looking for motivated individuals who are interested in volunteering their time for a good cause!  

Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Adopt-a-Highway Trash Cleanup
  • Educational Events
  • Grebe Festival
  • Helping with monitoring, field work days, and other tasks on our Conservation Projects
  • Leading a birding walk (for school classes, community youth groups, or the public)
  • Classroom presentations
  • Native planting for Bird-friendly and Climate-wise habitats
